This Data Protection Notice explains how Pinsa ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our app and related services. Pinsa is designed as a local body and weight tracking tool, and many of the app’s records are stored on your device. Where information is processed beyond your device, we describe those practices in this Notice.
By using Pinsa, you understand that certain information may be processed to provide core app features such as progress tracking, charts, history views, settings synchronization within the app, and support for purchases and diagnostics where applicable.
Pinsa does not use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing, if any is used in connection with app operations, is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do not send user content to third-party AI providers.
Any temporary data used for processing is handled only for the time needed to complete the requested operation and is deleted after processing is finished. User content is not used for model training, model fine-tuning, or model optimization. We do not use your data to build or improve AI models for third parties.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit where applicable, limited internal access, secure hosting practices, and monitoring intended to help protect the service.
Although we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and your account-related credentials, if any.
We may update this Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or app functionality. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice within the app or through other reasonable means.
Your continued use of Pinsa after an updated Notice becomes effective means you accept the revised version to the extent permitted by law.
Information you provide: You may enter body weight, BMI-related measurements, body circumferences, height, goal weight, goal date, mood labels, notes, and related profile settings. You may also submit support messages or feedback if you contact us directly.
Automatically collected information: Depending on your use of the app, we may automatically collect device and usage information such as app version, crash data, diagnostics, approximate usage patterns, and basic technical logs needed to operate and improve the app.
Cookies and similar technologies: Pinsa is primarily a mobile app and does not rely on browser cookies in the usual web sense. However, local storage or similar technologies may be used on your device to remember preferences, maintain app settings, and support essential functionality.
Your information may be processed or stored in different countries or regions where we, our service providers, or our infrastructure partners operate. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
When cross-border processing occurs, we take steps intended to protect the information through appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational measures, and we expect our service providers to handle data only in accordance with our instructions and applicable law.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Pinsa is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that information from a child under 17 has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.
We use information to operate the app, store and display your records, calculate trends and BMI, show progress toward goals, provide charts and history views, manage user settings, maintain security, and respond to support requests.
We do NOT use your information for AI training. We do NOT use your information for advertising. We do NOT use your information for profiling. We do NOT sell your information.
Pinsa does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or biometric analysis. We do not create face templates, facial maps, or similar biometric profiles. The app is not designed to analyze facial images or infer identity from biometric characteristics.
If any image or media is processed temporarily for a specific feature in the future, that data will be processed only for the required purpose and deleted after processing is complete unless you choose to save it locally yourself.
Uploaded or user-submitted content: If content is processed temporarily for a feature, it is deleted after processing is completed.
Generated results and history: Results generated by the app, such as recorded weights, measurements, BMI values, charts, and progress history, may be stored in your local history until you delete them. You can remove these records at any time through the app.
Crash logs: Crash logs and diagnostic reports may be retained for up to 12 months, unless a shorter retention period is required by law or operational necessity.
Support messages: Messages sent to support may be retained for up to 6 months after the matter is resolved, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
Temporary processing data: Any temporary data used during processing is deleted after completion of the relevant operation.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use limited third-party services only for cloud storage, server hosting, security, or basic infrastructure operations. Each such provider acts solely on our behalf and under our instructions, is bound by contractual obligations to protect data security, and is not permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.
Third parties are not allowed to use data for advertising, user profiling, AI training, model optimization, redistribution, or their own independent purposes. They may not independently access or use your content except as needed to perform the services we direct.
By downloading, accessing, or using Pinsa, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Data Protection Notice and agree to the collection, use, and handling of information as described here, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree with this Notice, you should discontinue use of the app.
